We are pleased to formally announce the first Midwest Banjo Camp, to be held June 3-5, 2005, on the Michigan State University Campus in East Lansing, Michigan. Students of all levels will be able to study old-time or bluegrass banjo with some of today's best players and teachers in both styles. Our program features hands-on classes, demonstrations, and a big faculty concert, plus time for jamming.

Instructors for our inaugural run include:

Bluegrass: Dennis Cyporyn, Bill Evans, Murphy Henry, Bill Keith, Ned Luberecki, Alan Munde, and John Rossbach (camp guitarist/accompanist);

Old-time: Danny Barnes, Mac Benford, Dan Gellert (camp fiddler), Brad Leftwich, Joel Mabus, Reed Martin, Michael J. Miles, Ken Perlman, and Mike Seeger.

More information and faculty bios are available on the Midwest Banjo Camp Web Site.
