Feufollet is far and away the best and most accomplished young Cajun band to emerge from Louisiana in recent years. They drew international attention at the closing concert of the Worldwide Acadien Congress in 1999; in 2000 they appeared with Zachary Richard in the PBS documentary Against The Tide; recently they were the subject of a cover story in Billboard Magazine. Feufollet tours extensively, playing festivals across the U.S. and in eastern Canada, where their following is enormous.

"Belle Louisiane" is Feufollet’s second CD, a combination of pure traditional Cajun music, original songs, and some contemporary Cajun covers. Steve Riley (of the Mamou Playboys), himself once a young prodigy and now one of the genre’s greatest, served as producer. Two tracks from Belle Louisiane are charting in Canadian radio.
