Instruction in effects (distortion, vibrato bar, etc.), blues and sliding scales. Lesson 3: Jazzy Electric Blues - Illustrates how to jazz up the 12-bar blues progression, vary the blues scales with diminished scales a la Charlie Christian, apply blues scales to jazz tunes, "substitute scales", and the special techniques used by Wes Montgomery and George Benson.
